Vinciane Gaussin has over 20 years of experience in life sciences in academic, biotech and non-profit organization settings. She was the Managing Director of the WEL Research Institute from 2010 to 2015 and resumed this position since March 2021, after several years in a biotech in California. Vinciane has a bio-engineer degree, obtained her PhD in 1996 (Belgium) and did her postdoc at the Baylor College of Medicine (USA).
Laurence Borgs - WELBIO Business Development Manager
Laurence Borgs is a neurobiologist, obtained a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2009 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in partnership with UCB Pharma. Combining scientific expertise and commercial leadership in various biotech life science companies, Laurence joined the WEL Research Institute as Business Development Manager for the WELBIO departement in August 2022.
Perrine Calvez - WEL-T Business Development Manager
Perrine Calvez is a chemical engineer. She obtained a Ph.D. in materials chemistry in 2009 which led her to the global steel industry where she held various positions : research and development, process engineer, marketing and environmental manager. In 2023, Perrine obtained an Executive Master in Management from Solvay Business School. Perrine joined the WEL Research Institute as Business Development Manager WEL-T in October 2023.
