The results of the WELBIO 2025 call, launched last September to support strategic life sciences research programmes aimed at translating discoveries into industrial applications across the fields of medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary biotechnology, have now been announced.
Thirteen programmes have been selected and will join the 22 from the previous call within our WELBIO department on 1 June.
This call is funded by the Walloon Region, which provides substantial support to WEL Research Institute investigators, enabling them to pursue ambitious research projects with the goal of achieving new scientific breakthroughs and translating their discoveries into concrete economic impact.
