The WEL Research Institute is pleased to share its 2025 annual report , highlighting a year of significant achievements and marking the culmination of five years of sustained growth.
With the support of the Walloon region, the Institute has more than doubled its scale since 2020, expanding from 28 to 71 Investigators across the fields of life sciences and sustainable technologies. This growth has strengthened scientific excellence and accelerated the translation of research into societal and economic impact through patents, spin-offs and industry collaborations.
